We focus on what a person can do, not what they can’t. We listen, watch and learn what matters most to them, then build support around it.
We ask open-ended questions, spend time with the person, and talk with family, friends and others who know them well.
Together we turn what we learn into goals. The person takes part in planning as much as they want or are able to.
Staff deliver support every day and document progress, so everyone can see what is working.
We meet at intake and every quarter with the person and their Waiver Support Coordinator, and update the plan when goals change or are met.
Every IDS staff member is a mandated reporter. Anyone can report, and you never need permission from us first.

We serve adults with developmental disabilities. Companion and Personal Supports are for adults age 21 and older, Supported Living Coaching is for adults living in their own home, and Respite supports families caring for an adult at home.
We give you contact information as soon as staff are assigned to you, and again any time staff are replaced.
Staff treat your home as your space. They knock before entering bedrooms, don’t change your thermostat or other settings for their own comfort, don’t accept gifts, and keep professional boundaries at all times.
Staff document each visit with the date, start and end times, what was worked on, and progress. You or your representative sign or mark each note to confirm it.
